Highly Adaptable

Tracoe Vario

The single lumen Tracoe Vario and Vario XL tubes have a variably adjustable neck flange. By means of a practical push-button mechanism, the flange can be moved on the cannula and individually positioned for each patient.

A scale ensures the exact positioning of the neck flange in preparation for a tube change. The flange is then locked in place by moving the orange lever upward. Locking with a twist lock is no longer necessary.

Tracoe Vario tubes are made of DEHP-free, medical grade PVC and are available with and without spiral-reinforcement and with and without high-volume low-pressure cuff. The assortment includes both standard and extra-long versions.

The flexible, rotating wings on the flange of the Tracoe Vario tubes can be adjusted independently of one another, thus providing further opportunities to accommodate the individual patient’s anatomy.

Subglottic suction

All Tracoe Vario Extract tubes are equipped with an embedded subglottic suction. The opening of the subglottic suction is at the lowest possible point above the cuff. Secretions in the subglottic space can therefore be suctioned off there. This reduces the risk of bacterially contaminated secretions entering the lower respiratory tract.

All Tracoe Extract tubes are approved for ACV - Above Cuff Vocalization. It is indicated for patients wearing a cuffed tracheostomy tube with subglottic suction line who do not tolerate cuff deflation. ACV is used in order to improve the patient’s quality of life and has to be adjusted to the individual patient’s needs and abilities.
